Savonna is a social media and photography freelancer and a youth advocate dedicated to helping young people strengthen their mental wellness and confidence. She has five years of corporate experience in the beauty, fashion, entertainment, and nonprofit spaces and uses her background in storytelling and community engagement to connect students with role models, resources, and opportunities.

Through her experience working in the nonprofit space, Savonna saw firsthand how connecting with relatable role models can help students imagine new possibilities for themselves. She founded Stronger Minds, Brighter Futures to bring community leaders, artists, creators, and professionals into schools for open conversations about mental health, hygiene, confidence, and other essential topics, giving students a chance to ask questions, connect personally with panelists, and see themselves represented in success stories.

In its first year, the initiative reached over 2,000 students and distributed over 5,000 hygiene essentials.

Savonna’s goal is to create safe, supportive spaces where students feel seen, valued, and encouraged to imagine possibilities beyond their circumstances, and to leave every event feeling stronger, more confident, and more hopeful about their future.
